Beginner Reborn

Eligibility: Artists in this category are new to the reborning process and have limited experience.

Judging Criteria:

• Basic Understanding of Reborning: Demonstrates fundamental knowledge of reborning techniques.

• Quality and Execution: Craftsmanship should reflect a basic level of skill and attention to detail.

• Skin Tones: Skin tones should be realistic but may lack advanced layering and depth.

• Mottling: Basic mottling techniques are applied.

• Weighting: Basic weighting for a realistic feel.

• Nose and Nails: Nose should be appropriately shaded or drilled; nails should be tipped and sealed.

• Veining and Marks: Basic veining and any birthmarks should be present but may lack depth.

• Eyelashes: Eyelashes should be rooted or applied in a natural shape.

• Eyebrows: Painted or rooted eyebrows should follow a natural growth pattern.

• Blushing and Creases: Blushing and creases should be well-blended with minimal paint pooling.

• Hair: Hair can be painted or rooted, but should not have bald spots. Basic natural patterns are encouraged.

• Overall Presentation: The overall look and appeal of the baby should reflect a beginner’s skill level.

• Adherence to Rules: Ensure all contest rules are followed and completed.
