Master Reborn

Eligibility: Artists entering this category must have previously won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in Advanced, Ethnic, or Toddler categories, or have been awarded Most Realistic or People's Choice at any previous show. Proof of these awards must be submitted, or the doll must be pre-judged to meet strict qualifications.

Judging Criteria:

• Quality and Execution: Exceptional craftsmanship with evident mastery in reborning techniques.

• Skin Tones: Extremely realistic skin tones depicting multiple layers of realistic tones and undertones.

• Mottling: Sophisticated mottling with depth and advanced blending.

• Weighting: Expertly weighted for a highly realistic feel.

• Nose and Nails: Nose must be shaded; nails should be realistic with natural coloring.

• Veining: Masterful veining showing depth and a below-the-surface appearance.

• Marks: Realistic birthmarks, scratches, or other baby marks (if present).

• Eyelashes: Must be rooted and have a realistic appearance and styling.

• Eyebrows: Painted in a natural growth pattern and layered realistically.

• Hair: Must be micro-rooted and/or painted with realistic growth patterns and age-appropriate style.

• Overall Aesthetic: High-level concept and design, with a focus on overall presentation and appeal.

• Display: Display should complement the baby’s coloring and clothing; clothing and apparel will also be considered.

• Adherence to Rules: Ensure all contest rules are followed and completed.
