Painted Hair

Eligibility: This category honors artists who excel in painting realistic and detailed hair on their dolls.

Judging Criteria:

• The artist must demonstrate extensive knowledge and mastery of hair painting techniques.

• Realism in the painted hair is crucial, with attention to hair direction and natural growth patterns.

• Hair must be completely painted; no partially painted heads.

• No hats or bald spots allowed.

• The painted hair should reflect natural growth patterns appropriate for the doll’s age.

• Presentation and overall aesthetic appeal will be assessed.

• Mastery of the concept and design will be judged.
